Sky Cinema customers are going to be moved to the Paramount + Basic (with ads) plan from 21 January. For example, watching Friends on Comedy Central SD, the quality seems to be on par with Comedy Central HD.So I don't think removing HD channels in favour of Sky Stream is logical for Sky. It seems like a lot of broadcasters who have HD channels use a HD to SD version for the SD version, so it feels like a better version of SD than traditional SD.
